Role Description
This is a 100% contract (freelance) role for a Site Manager - Data Centre.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Managing all on-site construction activities to ensure alignment with project programme, quality, and safety standards
- Supervising and coordinating subcontractors across multiple work packages (civil, structural, and MEP)
- Driving site productivity and ensuring delivery against key milestones
- Maintaining strict health & safety compliance in line with German regulations and company standards
- Monitoring daily site progress and reporting updates to the Project Manager and wider team
- Reviewing and coordinating site drawings, method statements, and technical documentation
- Identifying and resolving on-site issues, ensuring minimal disruption to programme
- Supporting logistics planning, material deliveries, and site coordination
- Ensuring quality control processes are followed and standards are consistently met
- Assisting with commissioning activities and ensuring readiness for system integration and handover
- Acting as a key point of contact on-site for subcontractors and internal teams
- Maintaining accurate site records, including progress reports, inspections, and change documentation
- Supporting risk management and implementing mitigation strategies where required
